Yann Caloghiris’ work ranges from brand communications, advertising and marketing campaigns to digital and broadcast work.  Below is a selection of some of this work.

We explored a series of potential brand positions which resulted in the development of a succinct brand strategy and a compelling brand promise; ‘real cocktails in a bottle’. Our challenge was to develop a series of creative touch points for retail, and the premium consumer. This proposition allowed us to produce a strong graphic language and visual brand for this contemporary product.
 

West Eleven Cocktails

The Challenge: Navyblue explored a series of potential brand positions which resulted in the development in a sucsint brand strategy and a compelling brand promise; ‘real cocktails in a bottle’.
Our challenge was to develop a series of creative touch points for retail intially, and the premium consumer.

The Solution: This proposition allowed us to produce a strong graphic language and visual brand for this contemporary product. The range was developed in partnership with a renowned mixologist, Ben Reed, and so the ingredients became not only the main focus of the packaging, but also the various digital and print communication pieces. The brand implementation was rolled out through the design and build of the website (www.westelevencocktails.com) as well as the development of initial printed material for trade events.
We produced a series of animated broadcast format TVCs for each of the cocktails which are also available on the website. The voice-over was recorded at the studio while Ben was fixing cocktails.
The unscripted edit gives a brief incite into the provenance, natural ingredients and process which goes into the making the cocktails. Other communications included; event branding and coverage, VOXPOPs, video cocktail making receipes and trade focussed corporate videos.

The Result: West Eleven Cocktails was awarded ‘Best Marketing Launch’ at the 2009 Drinks Business Awards at the ExCel in London. This award follows the Harpers Design Award the drinks received at the end of April for Best RTD. West Eleven Cocktails is the cocktail of choice at the 02 and available at all Waitrose stores.
It is also sold in 650 Tesco stores nationwide.
